Welcome to The Cardiff Beatles!
The youngest, freshest Beatles experience since 1969…

The Cardiff Beatles

The Cardiff Beatles, formed in 2002, are rapidly becoming one of the UK's leading Beatles Tribute bands. Closely replicating not only the sound, but also the famous Beatles look. The main aim of The Cardiff Beatles is to allow an audience the experience of being able to see what the Beatles would have been like live.

The Cardiff Beatles show consists of a variety of different time slots. These range from a one hour show to the full two hour show. The song selection touches upon the whole Beatle era, from Love Me Do to Get Back.
The Cardiff Beatles wear authentic Beatles costumes, and also use the correct instruments. This ensures that the sound and the visual presentation of the band is coherent with that of the Beatles themselves!
Vocally, The Cardiff Beatles, replicate the most famous voices in the world with startling effect. Combining this with the famous Beatles banter, really makes you feel that you are experiencing the real thing.

The Cardiff Beatles feel that it is important to pay tribute to the real Beatles by way of their professional, but approachable attitude, and the audiences have felt entertained thoroughly by this attitude. As a band we have found that this approach ensures a splendid time is guaranteed by all.

David: (John Lennon)

David has been a rhythm guitarist since first being given a guitar at nine years old. An avid Beatles fan since he was an embryo, Dave is developing into one of the UK's leading Lennon impersonators. His cheeky banter never fails to amuse the audience, and really brings the humor of Lennon He is also a song writer, and recorded several solo projects in the past.

George: (Paul McCartney)

George is not only a fantastic “Macca” impersonator, but also a brilliant musician. Playing not only bass guitar, but also rhythm/lead guitar and piano with great effect. His rendition of “The long and winding road” is truly mesmerizing. George has also enjoyed success with his solo projects, touring Europe and Canada. His love of all things “Beatles” led him to join The Cardiff Beatles.

Robert: (George Harrison)

Rob has been a professional musician for many years, featuring as a lead guitarist and song writer for the signed rockabilly band “Katsquire”, touring Europe. Rob is also an huge Beatles fan, and impersonates George Harrison like no other! Rob continues to write music for recording artists, as well as his solo projects.

Richard: (Ringo Starr)

Richie is a highly sought after drummer, and provides The Cardiff Beatles's with a solid backbeat, with which he pushes the band along with great effect. Richie has played drums for a good number of years with great musicians, and always shines.

A brief look at The Cardiff Beatles Repertoire and Show's on offer:
We offer a number of different shows, that we feel cater for most peoples needs. However we can, and will adapt any show to meet your needs. We are there to ensure that you get what you want, how you want it, and when you want it, on your evening! This may seem obvious, but it is often overlooked by other bands. Below is a few show outlines, and a look at what is always an expanding set.

Show One:

This is a one hour show, that is what we call the “party set”. This includes all the songs that where the most famous for The Beatles (mostly the number one songs).

Show Two:

This is the 2 x 45minute sets. This features two costume changes, and allows more time for the show to develop and include more of the album tracks as well as singles. This also allows for more of the famous “Beatles banter” that adds to the whole good feeling in the show, and makes it a more intimate feeling with the audience. This is by far the most popular for party environments accompanied by a disco (can be supplied by us, if requested)

Show Three:

This is the full two hour show, split into two one hour shows. If you want a full blown Beatles evening, this is the one for you. Spanning the whole Beatles era, from “The Cavern Club” right through to their last performance on the rooftop at “Apple”. This features four costume changes (Waistcoats, Black suits, Sgt Pepper costumes and finally the rooftop look). This is guaranteed to thrill any audience!

Show Four:

This is what we call the “Anthology Show”. This is also a two hour show, but it's a show with a twist. In the first half, you get the famous Beatle hits and banter, followed in the second half by a what if? The what if, is infact - What if the Beatles hadn't split up? During this half we play the hits from the Beatles solo years, as if they where still together. With songs such as, “Maybe I'm amazed, Imagine, My Sweet Lord, Photographs” and so much more. This set was designed to allow the audience a chance to hear songs that would not feature in a Beatles set, but are just as famous. The costumes in the second half are based on the clothes the solo Beatles wore during the 1970's.

A brief look at the repertoire:

This is a brief look at the variety of songs available to you for us to perform. This list is always expanding to meet the needs of any client. If you don't see a song in the list, but you would like it played, we would be more than happy to add it (advance warning is appreciated).
